The Ottawa Senators acquired forward Ryan Callahan in a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning, the teams announced.

Goaltender Mike Condon is heading to Florida along with a 2020 sixth-round draft pick, while Ottawa also receives Tampa Bay's fifth-round pick for next year.

The New Jersey Devils continued their summer upgrade on Monday, trading a third-round pick in 2020 and a second-round pick in 2021 for left wing Nikita Gusev of the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has acquired a fourth-round selection in the 2020 NHL Draft and forward David Clarkson from Vegas in exchange for goaltender Garret Sparks.

Clarkson, 35, last played an NHL game in March 2016 after suffering a career-ending injury.

The Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames swapped contract problems on Friday, as winger Milan Lucic waived his no-movement clause to allow a trade for winger James Neal.

The Blackhawks traded promising defenseman Henri Jokiharju to Buffalo on Tuesday for Alex Nylander, who hasn't quite lived up to expectations since he was selected by the Sabres with the eighth overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Obviously thought maybe I would be in the NHL sooner than I have been, but I'm just really excited, looking forward to being part of the Blackhawks organization," Nylander said. Toronto is sending Colorado forward Nazem Kadri, defenseman Calle Rosen and its third-round selection in the 2020 draft.

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired checking-line forward Nicolas Deslauriers in a trade with the Montreal Canadiens.

Montreal got a 2020 fourth-round draft pick and freed up $950,000 under the salary cap in completing their second trade Sunday.

The Blackhawks reacquired Andrew Shaw in a trade with Montreal on Sunday, bringing back the pesky forward just three years after they shipped him to the Canadiens.

The 27-year-old Shaw had 19 goals and a career-high 28 assists in 63 games last season.
